Halloween with the Addams Family !
This was the last time the original cast came back to reprise the characters they made famous. As most Ape Suit Aficionados will remember, the legendary Gorilla Man George Barrows played Gorgo the Gorilla in the original series in the 60s. In the Halloween special, there is a gorilla guest at an Addams Family only Halloween Party.. while never identified, I can't help but think this was a nnod to old Gorgo. The suit is at best, semi professional in quality. It's a Don Post Kong mask, on a Post Hollywood Gorilla body, and adorned with hat, spats, etc.the Gorilla character is seen fairly prominently throughout the 3rd act..
The Halloween with the Addams Family special will always be extra special to me , as it was the last time the entire cast performed together.
It's a fun, creepy, spooky, mysterious, and ooky heartwarming celebration of the season that I heartily recommend. It can be seen on Tubi .
